Ready for Irene

Samaritan’s Purse is prepared to respond as the powerful hurricane makes landfall in North Carolina.

Samaritan’s Purse was prepared to respond as Hurricane Irene slammed into the East Coast of North Carolina Saturday morning.

Samaritan’s Purse has two fully stocked Disaster Relief Units ready to be dispatched where help is needed most. Each unit serves as a base to house volunteers and equip them with tools and supplies.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

PRAY:

  • For the people in the path of the storm.
  • For wisdom as we determine where to work in the aftermath of the hurricane.
  • That God will be glorified through our work.
