How did you start your day this morning? Did you awaken with joy? Are you refreshed knowing that today is a gift from the Lord?
Or are you dragging? Just barely making it with complaint after complaint? The weather… the kids… the.. job…. so many burdens to bear.
There are many things that HE prepared in advance for you to do. Be glad of the gift and serve Him today with joy.
Did you say “Good Morning, Lord” or “Good Lord, it’s morning?”
This is the day the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24

I want to get up every morning rejoicing in the Lord and making satan and his demons tremble when my feet hit the floor. I thank you for posting the verse, I too, like Jennifer really needed to be reminded of it. Once I am up and moving I do rejoice, but I need to do it the moment my eyes open so I can make the choice that today I will live, eat and breathe Jesus Christ.
