On September 11, 2001, the nation’s attention was gripped by reports of terrorist attacks and saw the horror on TV screens everywhere. People asked, “Where was God?” On Sunday, September 11, 2011, at 9 a.m. Moody Radio will remember that tragic day with the radio special, “Finding God on 9/11.” In this hour long broadcast, we’ll revisit portions of Moody Radio’s coverage on 9/11/01 and the days following the attacks. We’ll hear echoes from newscasts, interviews with Christian leaders and eye witnesses including Pastor Jim Cymbala, Lisa Beamer and World Trade Center survivor, Genelle McMillan. We’ll also gain perspectives from Phil Fleischman and National Prayer leader, Dr. Bob Bakke.
